The primary election results have demonstrated change in Olympia is coming to the 19th legislative district.
During my campaign I have had the pleasure to get to know Grays Harbor Commissioner Wes Cormier. I respect his leadership and professionalism throughout this campaign season. He worked hard, and all voters of the 19th legislative district are fortunate to have had two good candidates that stand on values and will never follow Seattle style politics!
Thank you Mr. Cormier for standing up to make a difference and being the good person I admire.
Now onto the general election, the voters have spoken, loud and clear. Thank you to all our supporters and friends from Aberdeen to Cathlamet and beyond!
Be kind, be safe!
Just a quick update on our campaign drive for May.
With your help, we're 1/3 of the way to our goal of 100 new grassroots campaign donors. If you haven't had an opportunity to join in and you can support the campaign by making a $10 donation today (or if you can help with more) that would be fantastic.
Your help will show the folks in Olympia we're serious about winning this seat in November and restoring some balance to our state legislature. Every little bit counts towards helping us do things like get signs up and letters mailed out to voters with our message of fiscal responsibility and getting our communities back to work.
Here's the link...I'd appreciate your help reaching this goal!

From Aberdeen to Ilwaco we should all be confident we will defeat this virus. Safely restarting our economy is a priority to the People of the 19th district.
Prior to the Coronavirus the State of Washington had a robust economy in the Seattle area, while Cowlitz, Lewis, Pacific, Wahkiakum, and Grays County still struggled.
Olympia cannot tax us into recovery. Serving as a Port Commissioner I have kept my promise to reduce taxes and be financially responsible to the citizens.
We need to work together, now more than ever!

I have a big ask of you today. In the next 30 days, I’m hoping to show the people in Olympia that our campaign is serious about restoring balance to our State Senate next year. To do that we need a strong showing of grassroots support to get our message out and connect with voters. So today, we’re doing a $10 Donation day with Tuna (featured below).
If all my supporters kicked in just $10 to our campaign this week, we will begin to build the momentum it’s going to take to beat a well-funded opponent in November.
Your contributions will help us pay for things like the signs going up across the district. And if you can support with more than $10, that would be amazing! I know budgets are tight right now, but elections have never mattered more. It’s going to take common sense to help lead us into a post-Covid recovery, and it would truly be my honor to represent you next year.

Thanks – and let’s go win this thing!

The COVID virus has impacted everyone in some way or another. During these times we need to move forward and work together to ensure each other’s safety while respecting the rights of others.
Priorities and common sense...
Testing for the virus needs to be available and offered to each resident as soon as possible.
Putting people back to work safely, and restoring our economy is needed for the overall health of the 19th district.
Return to “normal”? We will all be building a new “normal” together. Trish and I want to thank all the wonderful support my campaign has generated.
We need each other more than ever to get pass this pandemic. The enemy is the virus, not each other.
Be kind, be safe
